This stretch of the Mediterranean is known as the Coast of the Gods and it really is a heavenly destination for visitors.

The design is most distinctive. The villas are built in a semi circular style, to echo the half moon bay they are delightfully named after. The architect has used local materials to ensure that this elegant, modern style harmonises with the stunning local landscape. The two bedroom, two bathroom detached properties come in a very sophisticated and distinctive Italian style. The rooms are all designed to be light and airy and to make the very best of the fabulous climate. They all have a large solarium, perfect in the summer with the advantage of extending the months the sun can be enjoyed. There are large gardens to relax in too.
The villas are within an easy drive of the La Pace golf course and only 50kms away from ski-ing on the mountain slopes which divide Calabria. The ferry to Sicily is less than an hour away too.
Food is one of the great pleasures of Calabria, which boasts a wide range of mouthwatering dishes using delicious, locally grown produce. The Tyrrhenian Sea is a rich source of sea food and the area is also famous for its spicy Njuda salami made with chillies and fresh pork as well as the creamy Peccarino cheese. The local wines are excellent too.
Zambrone is a real gem of a centre. This historic town dates back to the 16th century and it delights with architectural gems round every corner. Its fairy tale setting is so romantic that visitors could be forgiven for wanting their holiday to go on for ever!
The town has its own beautiful and busy marina where there is a real buzz. The waterfront is lined with beachfront pizzerias, sea food restaurants and lively bars. There are boats for hire and a local ferry transports visitors over the translucent sea to the legendary Aeolian Islands, now a playground for the rich and famous.
Myths and legends abound in this beautiful area, the Gods knew just what they were doing when they made it the summer home for their much loved children. Zambrone also houses a most impressive amphitheatre which hosts classical theatre as well as ballet and concerts, both classical and pop.
The sophisticated resort of Tropea, known as the St Tropez of Italy, is close by too. Another historic town with a labyrinth of little alleys crammed full of beautiful local shops, restaurants and bars, it really comes alive in the summer months.
